The Siena Heights softball team traveled to Arizona for their annual spring break games. The team left Friday, March 3rd to fly Detroit to Denver then Tucson. The varsity and junior varsity team played several games each day besides their off-day on March 7th. Sophomore Lauren Dioszegi spent the off day with her family. Her off-day included shopping, exploring Tucson, and visiting the Phoenix area. “My favorite part of the day was exploring the Tucson area because it was part of the country that I hadn’t been before,” Dioszegi noted. On Saturday, March 11th the team returned home during the night.

The softball team had a full week of practice before playing Trinity Christian on March 22nd at home where they lost both games. Their double header against Adrian was cancelled due to rain on March 23rd. Up next, the team is slated to take on Lawrence Technological University on Saturday March 25 at Lawrence Technological University for a conference double header.
