Exploring the World
Dr. Julie Barst, Professor of English and Chair of the Humanities Division, is leading a trip in May 2024 to Belize and Guatemala. The trip is eight days long with a full itinerary to capture the beauty and culture of Belize. Coral Gardens, the second largest barrier reef, is one of the adventures by snorkeling. Those who attend the trip will also visit the ancient Mayan site of Tikal in Guatemala. There are more activities like zip-lining, tubing through caves, and touring more popular sites.
There is a $200 discount for registering between February 22 and March 3. The trip is open to all and not just Siena Heights students. Students who have more questions and concerns should reach out to Dr. Julie Barst.
