COLUMN: Banana Bread Recipe Ripe with Flavor
Did you forget about the bananas you bought a couple of days ago? Now they are too ripe? Do not worry, they can be used for delicious banana bread.
It is simple, delicious, and best of all, it’s not hard to make. This recipe is easy and here just in time for the cool weather. Banana bread is perfect with a cup of tea or coffee.
Here is how to make it.
Preheat: 350 degrees F; Pan Size: 4×8 inch loaf pan (preferably nonstick)
Ingredients:
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla 2-3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup of butter (salted or unsalted, it does not matter)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- ½ cup of sugar
- 1 ½ cups of flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- Chocolate chips on top (optional but who does not like chocolate chips)
Steps:
- Put all your butter, sugar, vanilla, milk, salt, and eggs in a bowl. Mix with a mixer.
- Put all your flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl. Mix.
- Combine all ingredients in one bowl then add bananas. Mix.
- Put all in pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes (or until done)
- Let cool for a few minutes before you take it out of pan.
