DELANEY’S DRIVE-THRU REVIEW: Burger King
I have quite a “whopper” of a review for you this week! If that wasn’t enough of a hint, the restaurant I reviewed is Burger King!
I had a good experience. One thing I will say is if you are trying to cut back on meat, or if you have already cut meat from your diet, Burger King has a pretty good vegetarian burger on their menu!
During this visit, we ordered a Whopper (of course) with no lettuce and no tomatoes and the Impossible (vegetarian) Whopper with no pickles, no onion and no mayo. We also ordered fries, onion rings, and a Sprite to drink.
Personally, I enjoyed the Impossible Whopper more than the actual Whopper! Some may not agree, but that was my preference. However, they forgot to leave off the onions and pickles, so that was a bit upsetting. I love their onion rings, and the fries were OK.
The service, aside from making a couple errors with our order, was good. It was your average drive-thru service. The one employee I did see had a mask on properly, so that was good.
The wait-time was similar to some of the other fast-food restaurants in town, which tends to be around 20 minutes or so. This time, I waited a total of about 23 minutes from the time I arrived to the time I left with my order.
The prices were pretty good! It cost $17.25 for the Impossible Whopper meal, the Whopper, and a small order of onion rings.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit. The next time I go, I will definitely order the onion rings and the Impossible Whopper again!
