DELANEY’S DRIVE-THRU REVIEW: Tim Hortons
Are you ever in the mood for good breakfast or lunch food, but don’t know where to go or what to order?
Or maybe you have limited time and just want to quickly go through a drive-thru.
This week, I visited Tim Hortons in Adrian and was impressed by the number of options they have for breakfast and lunch. I had a great overall experience.
To begin, I will tell you a bit about the service and wait-time. When I arrived, there was only one car in front of me. I was in line for a total of about 10 minutes. I do want to warn that I have had many visits to Tim Hortons where I had to wait more than 10 minutes, so this may or may not be the case when/if you visit.
The employees were your average drive-thru workers. They weren’t mean, but they weren’t extremely friendly, either. They were, however, wearing their face masks correctly, so that was great.
I went during the weird time between breakfast and lunch, so I figured I would get one breakfast item and one lunch item.
I originally wanted to order the Farmer’s Breakfast Wrap because I LOVED it the last time I had it, but they were all out of hash browns, which is an essential ingredient in this wrap.
So, I decided to order the Bacon Bagel Breakfast Sandwich on an Everything Bagel, and that was just as good.
For the lunch item, I ordered the Chicken Panini meal. I love their paninis. I ordered chips for the side and a Sprite to drink. I also had to get a coffee, so I ordered the Iced Caramel Macchiato.
I loved everything except the coffee. Unfortunately. It was a bit watered down. The person who came with me ordered a Croissant Breakfast Sandwich and loved it. He ordered an Iced Cappuccino to drink and said that was really good as well.
Finally, I bought my dad just a normal hot coffee with cream and sugar, and he said it was good. So, aside from my iced coffee, the food was impressive.
The final area to discuss is the pricing. The total was $27.18. Considering we got a meal, three additional drinks, and two breakfast sandwiches, I would say that is a good price.
If you haven’t already, I suggest trying Tim Hortons for breakfast or lunch because the food was very good, and the prices weren’t too bad!
