DELANEY’S DRIVE-THRU REVIEW: Culver’s
Have you driven by Culver’s in Adrian and noticed that their drive-thru line is almost always out to the road? Has that stopped you from ordering food from there? Don’t worry, I endured their drive-thru line, and am here to tell you how it was.
To begin, I will say I was a bit luckier because the line was not too long when I arrived. But it wasn’t too short, either. There were five cars in front of me that had not yet ordered, so it still took quite some time. The entire visit – from the time we pulled into the line to the time I was driving away with my food – took about 25 minutes.
During this visit, I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich meal, so it came with fries and a drink. I ordered Sprite for the drink. I also added a large order of cheese curds, but I forgot to order a side of ranch!
I really enjoyed the sandwich, but what honestly made it better was the Chick-Fil-A sauce I had in my car from a recent visit.
I love the cheese curds, as always, but they are so much better with the ranch I forgot to order. But that obviously is not Culver’s fault.
The person who came with me ordered The Culver’s Deluxe Burger meal, so he also had fries and ordered Pepsi for the drink. He said he really enjoyed his meal entirely.
We both asked them to leave a couple things off our sandwiches, and they made both of them correctly.
The prices at Culver’s are definitely higher than other fast-food restaurants, but many people say the quality of Culver’s food is a lot higher as well. The total for the two meals and the cheese curds was about $24, so not terribly expensive, but not as cheap as McDonald’s, for example.
As far as COVID-19, I rated them a 10/10. The employee at the window was wearing a mask when I paid for my food, and so was the employee that walked the food out to my car. The service was also fine.
The employees didn’t seem too excited to take my order and hand me my food (like the woman from Rally’s in my last review was), but they weren’t rude at all, either. It was just the average drive-thru service.
Overall, I had a good experience at Culver’s. I do plan to revisit whenever I can catch a time where the drive-thru line is not going into the road.
