COLUMN: Travis Scott and Fortnight a Winning Combo

Though we are now confined to our homes, we have become tremendously inventive in the way we communicate and seek entertainment. Thankfully, technology has made it so that we are always connected with one another.

The recent quarantine concert spotlight goes to Travis Scott. Fortnight has collaborated with Astro Worlds artists to create an explosive in-game concert experience.

After dropping from the battle bus, it’s rather easy to find the location of the concert. Go to the pink marker on the map. When the concert begins, a larger than life animation of Travis Scott appears. After this, the player will go through an immersive and colorful journey underwater and even through space.

There is also a Travis Scott skin available. If you purchase the bundle, you will receive his skin along with several other skins, emotes, and dances. However, most of the gear, like his “mic on fire” dance is free if you complete the “Astronomical” challenges. These challenges are rather easy, considering that one of them is to find the easily decipherable Travis heads and jump off of them five different times.

Overall, from the skins to the concert itself, this an extremely unique and fun-filled way to pass the time at home.

So, if you’d like to take a trip to Astro World, be sure to log onto Fortnight before this rare event comes to an end. If you’ve missed the first concert, there are four more chances to get in on the experience. The first concert broke records, with a whopping 13.3 million people attending at once.

EpicGames says that is it “From April 23-25, blast off into a one of a kind musical journey featuring Travis Scott and the world premiere of a brand new track.”

The remaining concert dates and times are: 10 a.m. April 24, and midnight, 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. April 25.
