Saints Have Nail-Biting Win Against Huntington
The Siena Heights Saints women’s soccer team played a well-fought game against Indiana’s Huntington Foresters, taking them down to the wire in double-overtime with the final score being 2-1 Saints.
For the Foresters, they had nine shots and seeven on goal. Courtney McKown took a breakaway pass and was the only one who scored for the Foresters and Maddy Moan had eight saves as the goalie.
For the Saints, they had a total of 24 shots, but only 10 of them were on goal. Midfielder/forward Magali Romero had the first score of the day followed by Erin Tyson, who had the game winning goal in the second over-time. Goalie Kara Bishop had six saves on the day to keep the Saints in the game.
