January 30
Men’s Basketball VS. Wilberforce. W 73-71.
The Saints won a close non-conference home game that came down to an exciting finish as the Saints held off Wilberforce 73-71. Jerrell Martin led the team with 24 points while contributing 10 rebounds. Nick Randle added 11 points and two steals. Tony Jackson and Josh Winowiecki added 10 points apiece. Chris Pearl contributed eight points while leading the team with four assists and 12 rebounds.
February 1
Men’s Volleyball @ Lourdes. L 1-3.
The Saints picked up their first loss of the season as they fell to #7 Lourdes on the road. SHU won the first set 25-22, but then dropped the next three sets by scores of 21-25, 20-25 and 20-25 again to end up dropping the contest 1-3. Matthew Dugan led the team with 14 kills and 17 points. Keegan Crawford led the team with 31 assists. Emilier DeJesus led the team with 17 digs. Leading in blocks was Julian Ayar with seven while Tyler Hubbard-Neil led with three service aces.
Women’s Basketball @ Northwestern Ohio. W 73-64.
The Saints won a conference game on the road as they defeated UNOH 73-64. Leading the team in points with 19 was senior, April Watson, who also had the lone block for SHU. Adding 18 points was Clara Waidley. Demi Russel, and Sharmaine Wills, who led the team with four assists while Wills also led with eight rebounds.
Men’s Basketball @ Northwestern Ohio. L 62-70.
The Saints dropped a conference game on the road as they were defeated by UNOH 62-70. Leading the Saints with 13 points and six rebounds was Josh Winowiecki. Adding 12 points was Jerrell Martin. Martin and Nick Randle led SHU with three assists and Randle also contributed 10 points. Chris Pearl contributed nine points while leading the team with three blocks and two steals.
February 3
Men’s Volleyball @ Lawrence Tech. W 3-0.
The Saints swept Lourdes in three matches to get the 3-0 victory. SHU won the sets 25-10, 25-16 and 25-18. Matthew Dugan and John Kalugar led the team with seven points apiece. Dugan led with seven kills while Kalugar led with six digs. Keegan Crawford led the team with 24 assists and three service aces.
Men’s Track & Field @ Hillsdale “Wide-Track” Classic.
The Saints finished sixth at the “Wide-Track” classic hosted by Hillsdale. Torin Anderson finished second in the 400m dash with a time of 50.92 seconds. Anthony Vermilye and Brent Rodden finished second and third in the 600m dash with times of 1:22.12 and 1:22.92, respectively. The Distance Medly Relay team that consisted of Rodden, Ryan Dukes, Dominic Muessig and Vermilye took fourth place with a time of 10:17.68. Freshman, Juwan Willis, placed fourth in the high jump with a jump of 6’4.” Jared Kimmit placed second in the pole vault with a vault of 15’3.” Jacob Compagner placed fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 57’3.75.”
Women’s Track & Field @ Hillsdale “Wide-Track” Classic.
The Saints finished eighth at the “Wide-Track” classic hosted by Hillsdale. Freshman Asia Gardner placed fourth in the 200m dash with a time of 25.39 seconds. Alexis Moore finished fourth in the 400m dash with a time of 59.01 seconds. Brianna Pekel placed second in the 600m dash with a time of 1:41.63. Lauren McMahon placed fifth in the mile with a time of 5:33.41. Ashley Russo placed third in the 5000m run with a time of 18:26.73. Shelia McKinley placed fifth in the pole vault with a vault of 11’9.75.”
Women’s Bowling @ WHAC Jamboree.
The Saints finished sixth at the fourth and final Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Jamboree. SHU scored a tournament high with single game scores of 962 and 933. The Saints also earned a baker game-high of 659 while earning a pin-fall total of 5994. Olivia Cabildo led the team with a 732 pin-fall while taking eighth with a high game of 204. Earning 12th with a high game of 196 and a total pin-fall of 709 was Kassandra Costello.
Men’s Bowling @ WHAC Jamboree.
The Saints finished sixth at the fourth and final Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Jamboree. The Saints scored a team high of 999 and a bake game high of 744 while earning a pin-fall total of 6330. Leading the team with a 191.75 four game average of 203 to earn 14th was Zachary Colosimo. Steven Cadwell finished 23rd with a game high of 236, earning a 186 four-game average.
Women’s Basketball VS. Madonna. W 95-91.
The Saints won the pink game at home as they held off Madonna for an exciting 95-91 victory. Leading the way for the Saints was Junior, Azalea Miller, with 21 points, five assists and two steals. Adding 19 points was Jaaliyah Arrington while Clara Waidley added 16 points. Contributing 13 points, while leading the team with 11 rebounds, was April Watson.
Men’s Basketball VS. Madonna. W 78-59.
The Saints won the pink game at home as they cruised to a 78-59 victory over Madonna. Leading the team with 29 points was Chris Pearl. Pearl, along with Jerrell Martin, added two steals while Martin also added 10 points to go with a team high of two blocks. Tony Jackson led the team with seven rebounds.

Cheerleading @ Aquinas for Saints Showdown.
The Saints finished the Saints Showdown with 45.9 points to place seventh overall.
Dance @ Aquinas for Saints Showdown.
The Saints finished with 75.33 points to claim second at the Aquinas Tri Meet while placing fifth in the Saints Showdown with a total of 72.5 points.
