Ethics Lecture Speaker Announced
Educational trailblazer and New York Times Education best-selling author Jim Ziolkowski is the featured speaker for SHU’s 14th annual Chiodini/Fontana Lecture Series on Ethics at 7:30 p.m. March 11 in Francoeur Theater. His lecture is entitled, “Walk in Their Shoes,” which is based on his most recent book. The lecture is free and open to the community. Ziolkowski is the founder, president and CEO of buildOn, a non-profit organization that builds schools in developing countries while also running after-school service programs in America’s toughest inner-cities. He is a native Jackson, Mich.
The Chiodini/Fontana series was established to provide students and the community the opportunity to reflect on matters of moral significance that touch many dimensions of today’s society. The endowed Chiodini/Fontana series is funded by Catherine Reuther and Warren Reuther, with additional support from the Edward M. and Henrietta M. Knabusch Trust.
The Siena community is invited to attend.
